Tessa Sutton currently teaches art to elementary and middle school students at LNCS Keewaydin School in Minneapolis Public Schools. She is a visual artist working primarily in painting and drawing and has an MFA from California College of the Arts and a BA in history from Grinnell College. Originally from Des Moines, IA, she recently returned to the Midwest after a long roost in Brooklyn and San Francisco where she worked at Pratt, CCA and Cooper Union in college arts administration and at an interior design firm. In addition to exhibiting in America and Europe, she has taught students of all ages in a museum, community college, a women’s correctional facility, public school programs and privately.
